TheStreet, a financial news website which offers a variety of wealth-building investment and stock trading subscriptions for investors, approached Croud, the performance digital marketing agency, and tasked them with driving users to the site and achieve a low CPA of subscribers to both Action Alerts PLUS and Real Money, two of their best known investing products.
Over a six month period, and with TheStreet’s support and flexibility with the strategy, Croud put together a strategy which gradually grew their programmatic prospecting proposition and optimised results towards the CPA Goal.
Results for the campaign were outstanding. During the first month, Croud achieved a CPA far lower than expected, whilst at the end of the six months, they achieved over triple the volume of monthly subscribers and an even lower average CPA.
